Job Summary: Under the direction of the Nurse Coordinator of the Xavier Pregnancy Program and the Nurse Manager of the Xavier Medical Clinic, the Interpreter Services Coordinator ensures timely, accurate, and complete scheduling of interpreter services for the following: In- patient and out-patient needs occurring within the Saint Francis Health System, with priority given to the obstetrical patient population; XPP and XMC Clinics; XPP physician offices; specialty appointments for XMC and XPP patients; Patient Education encounters including the Diabetes Education and Childbirth Classes. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes the team concept and reflects the goals, values, mission, and philosophy of Saint Francis Health System.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.
Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Tested and passed interpretor proficient. Excellent communication, customer relations and organizational skills. Ability to work with others in a team approach. General knowledge of online computer systems and applications (preferably in IDX, Excel, Word, SAP / One Staff).
