Administrative Support Specialist
Full time position based in Knox County. Responsible work involving the coordination of operations for the Executive Director. Preparation of reports and correspondence for the Executive Director, assist with activities associated with special projects. Assist with the coordination of Board agenda including the recording of minutes and maintaining accurate records of all official meetings. Duties require strong interpersonal, organizational skills, dedicated attention to details and the ability to effectively prioritize activities to meet multiple job assignments. Ability to effectively coordinate special projects and initiatives, organization of the Executive Director’s office, level of support and assistance provided for administrative staff and ability to interact effectively with agency employees, local and regional officials and the public.
Salary range: $35,000 annually (Negotiable)
Graduation from an accredited high school (Associate Degree preferred). Experience in office administration, or closely related field, considerable experience working with the public, considerable experience working with Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) or any equivalent combination of education.
