We are in search of a Clinical Support Specialist to provide expert advice to facility staff and help establish and maintain systems that are effective and efficient to operate our facilities in a manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state & local requirements.
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
Establishing systems to enforce policies and procedures & ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
Act as liaison to governing body, Administrator and designated facility personnel
Recommend and implement improvements to resident care and/or operating policies & procedures
Supervise the systems to assure confidentiality of resident information
Perform facility audits
Provide support during annual health survey
Analyze and make recommendations on proper nursing and administrative methodology.
Interpret federal, state and local regulations for facility staff.
Assist with creation of educational programs
Observe all organizational policies & procedures.
Assume Quality Indicator & Quality Assurance responsibilities as assigned
Qualified candidates will have:
An unencumbered Registered Nurse License
A minimum of three years of experience guiding the delivery of care in a Long-Term Care environment
The ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional interpersonal skills
