The school based therapist will work within the City of Middletown providing services that foster healthy decision making processes, holistic mental health programming and best practices in substance abuse prevention and treatment. This will be done through individual, group and/or family therapy.
Therapists will have on site clinical supervision, monthly school based team meetings, and weekly program collaboration with team coordinators.
Therapists will partner with all school staff and work collaboratively with the student, family and school faculty to engage with appropriate resources and special programs within the community and school. We have positions for all ages from the Early Learning to High School.
- Requires an Ohio License in Social Work or Counseling (LPC, LSW, LPCC, LISW).
- Experience working with children-adolescents, families and schools/community agencies required, substance abuse and trauma certifications desired.
